The Bauer S23 Vapor Hyperlite2 racket uses ACL 2.0 technology. A thin outer layer of carbon fibers makes the racket more durable and at the same time less stressed.
The carbon fibers are concentrated in the areas that are most stressed at the start of the stroke, making the racket stronger, the handle stiffer and the stroke speed reduced. The result is a 20% stiffer base and a 5% stiffer handle, while reducing the weight of the racket.
This racket is 25 grams lighter than its predecessor Hyperlite, and is the lightest and strongest racket Bauer has ever made. The racket has a HYP2RCORE carbon fiber core. This ensures a very fast energy transfer between the preparation movement and the stroke, resulting in a 10% improvement in stroke duration.
